\Thirteen hours of rainfall knocked the capital into a crisis, the meteorology service warned that showers would continue through Sunday and additional canals could burst.
\While no casualties have been reported, older residents near the waterways noted water levels more severe than the 2011 floods that killed hundreds across Thailand.
\With all 50 districts on emergency status, Mayor Chadchart Sittipunt said the city is pumping water but the risk remains for those living by the canals.
