Yung Filly Faces Reckless Driving Charges Amid Rape Allegations

Yung Filly, known for his vibrant online presence and participation in UK television, has found himself embroiled in troubling legal issues. Following an alleged incident of reckless driving in Australia, the 29-year-old rapper was reportedly caught speeding at an alarming 158km/h (98mph) on a highway in Perth—where the speed limit is only 100km/h. This event unfolded on November 17, just weeks after he was granted bail regarding rape charges connected to an alleged attack on a woman in September. His vehicle has since been impounded by the authorities.

Barrientos is now expected to face court on November 19, where he will confront not only the reckless driving charge but also four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and a count linked to impeding a person's breathing by applying pressure to their neck. Reports suggest that the alleged assault took place when Barrientos brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room following a performance at a nightclub in Perth during his tour.
