With the lights rapidly changing, Hellenthal timed his assistance perfectly, stepping into the halted vehicle and guiding the occupant safely across the traffic‑heavy road.
Police footage of the event was soon shared by the Jonesboro Police Department, which expressed gratitude for the driver’s quick and compassionate response. “Not all heroes wears capes, but sometimes they are dressed for the moment,” the department’s statement read, emphasizing that ordinary citizens can perform extraordinary deeds.
