Julian McMahon, a cherished figure in Australian cinema and television, has sadly passed away, with tributes pouring in from co-stars and fans alike.

Australian actor Julian McMahon, famed for his roles in hit series like Nip/Tuck and Charmed, has passed away at the age of 56 in Clearwater, Florida, after a courageous fight against cancer. His wife, Kelly Paniagua, conveyed the tragic news, stating, "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible."

McMahon's rise in Hollywood began with the popular supernatural series Charmed, where he captured audiences' hearts before gaining broader recognition for his portrayal of the charismatic plastic surgeon Dr Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck. The medical drama, which aired from 2003 to 2010, earned him a Golden Globe nomination for his performance and became a cultural touchstone.

Dylan Walsh, his co-star in Nip/Tuck, expressed his shock and sorrow at the news, saying, "We rode this wave together and I loved him." He reminisced about their shared experiences, noting, "All those years you had my back, and my god, we laughed. My heart is with you. Rest in peace."
