Russia intensified its military offensive against Ukraine over the weekend, unleashing one of the most significant waves of drone and missile attacks of the ongoing conflict. The coordinated strikes resulted in at least 12 fatalities and left over 60 others injured in various regions of Ukraine. This surge in hostilities illustrates Moscow's apparent reluctance to pursue a peaceful resolution, according to Ukrainian officials who emphasize the brutality of the attacks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the unprecedented scale of the assault, which not only widened the scope of devastation across 13 regions but also undermined ongoing cease-fire negotiations. He asserted that such actions reveal Russia’s commitment to prolonging the conflict, leading to continued daily losses for Ukraine.
