Tragic Death of French Streamer Sparks Investigation Amidst Concerns of Health Issues

Authorities are investigating the death of French streamer Raphaël Graven, whose passing raises questions about the potential underlying health issues that may have contributed to his demise.

An autopsy conducted on Raphaël Graven, the 46-year-old French streamer better known as Jean Pormanove, has concluded that the cause of his death was not trauma-related. Based on a report from prosecutor Damien Martinelli, medical examiners determined that Graven’s passing was "not traumatic in origin" nor was it influenced by any third-party involvement. The findings indicated the absence of any critical internal or external injuries, instead noting only minor bruises and healed lesions on Graven's body.

Graven was discovered deceased at his home in Contes, situated to the north of Nice, prompting French government minister Clara Chappaz to proclaim the incident an "absolute horror" and initiate a judicial investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Following the autopsy, Martinelli suggested that further medical and toxicological testing would be necessary, hinting at potential heart complications and pre-existing thyroid issues affecting Graven.

In a related statement, a representative for the streaming platform Kick disclosed that the platform was conducting an urgent review concerning the incident's context. Local reports suggested that Graven had been experiencing violence and sleep deprivation during his streaming activities, with some accounts stating he passed away during a live broadcast.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities have interviewed several individuals who were with Graven at the time of his passing. Additionally, equipment and videos from the scene have been secured to piece together the events leading up to his death, in a bid to ascertain if any factors may have contributed to the medical conditions present at the time.
