A former model, Stacey Williams, has publicly alleged that former President Donald Trump groped her during a meeting in the early 1990s. In an interview with CNN, Williams recounted the incident, which she claims took place in 1993 at Trump Tower. She stated that she was brought to meet Trump by Jeffrey Epstein, her then-boyfriend, and described the encounter as unsettling. "The second he [Trump] was in front of me, he pulled me into him, and his hands were just on me and didn’t come off," she told CNN.

The Trump campaign responded swiftly to the allegations, labeling them as false and politically motivated. Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt pointed out that Williams had initially shared her story at a "Survivors for Kamala" event, asserting that it aimed to distract from allegations made against Doug Emhoff, the husband of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Emhoff was accused by an anonymous ex-girlfriend of slapping her years prior, a claim he has denied through a spokesperson.

During her account on CNN, Williams detailed Trump's actions, stating that his hands roamed over her body, emphasizing the intimacy of the encounter as she felt unable to respond. "It was an out of body experience," she said, recalling that she "froze" in shock. Following the incident, Williams mentioned that she ended her relationship with Epstein, who had a notorious history that later culminated in his arrest for sex crimes in 2019 and subsequent death.

This latest accusation adds to the growing list of women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct since his presidential campaign began in 2016. Trump has consistently denied these accusations. Notably, in 2023, a civil jury held him liable for sexually abusing writer E Jean Carroll, who has won multiple defamation cases against him following his derogatory remarks. As the 2024 presidential election approaches, the political stakes around these allegations grow ever higher.
