YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, known for his real name Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, finds himself in deeper legal turmoil as he confronts new charges of reckless driving. Reports indicate that Barrientos was caught on camera driving at a dangerous speed of 158 km/h (98 mph) on a highway in Perth last month, all while he was under bail for more severe allegations of rape.

Authorities claim that the reckless driving incident occurred on November 17 in the High Wycombe area of Perth, where the speed limit is set at 100 km/h. As a result, police have impounded his vehicle. Barrientos is scheduled to appear in court on November 19, where he will face not only the reckless driving charge but also multiple serious charges, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of obstructing a person’s normal breathing or circulation.

The allegations stem from an incident in September, where it is said that Barrientos brought a woman in her 20s to his hotel room after a performance at the nightclub Bar1. Controversies surrounding Barrientos extend beyond these criminal charges; his scheduled live show in Perth has already been cancelled in light of the rape allegations. Known for his work with the YouTube group Beta Squad and appearances on major UK shows such as ITV's Soccer Aid and Channel 4's Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, Barrientos also won a MOBO Award for Best Media Personality in 2021.
