A tech company in the United States has announced it is probing into the circumstances surrounding a viral video from a Coldplay concert, which allegedly depicts two of its employees, including the CEO. The moment captured on a gigantic screen at the Boston concert featured a couple wrapped in each other's arms, but upon realizing they were being filmed, they quickly ducked away from the camera.

The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, humorously remarked, “Either they’re having an affair, or they're just very shy,” which only fueled speculation online regarding the identities of those in the video. Reports suggest that the man in the clip is Astronomer’s CEO, Andy Byron, who joined the company in July 2023, while the woman is believed to be Kristin Cabot, the chief people officer, noted to have joined in November 2024. However, neither party has publicly confirmed their involvement in the video.

Since being shared on TikTok, the clip has garnered millions of views, evolving into a viral sensation complete with memes and parodies featured on various television programs. After two days of rampant discussion regarding the video, which many believe involves top executives from Astronomer, the firm released a statement announcing a formal investigation aimed at upholding its internal standards of conduct.

The statement clarified that while various reports referenced Mr. Byron's involvement, he has not made any personal statements, and it explicitly denied the participation of any other employees in the filmed incident. As the situation unfolds, the internet remains abuzz with chatter, alongside fake statements attributed to Mr. Byron that have further complicated the narrative.
