Uthmeier disclosed the procurement and execution of subpoenas and warrants during an interaction with a reporter on social media platform X regarding the ongoing inquiry.
The brothers were previously detained in Romania in 2022 on allegations of enticing women to travel to Romania with promises of work while exploiting them sexually. After more than two years of being barred from international travel, they made their way to Florida upon the lifting of those restrictions.
Simultaneously, the Tates face additional scrutiny in the UK, where authorities have also sought their arrest in connection to accusations of rape and human trafficking. A group of British women that has taken legal action against Andrew Tate is actively urging UK officials to pursue extradition to ensure the brothers face justice.
