At least three people have been killed and more than ten injured in Ukraine in the latest wave of Russian strikes, officials have said.
Firefighters are battling a blaze that erupted overnight at a market in Kyiv after it was hit by Russian missiles and drones. Ukraine reports that it shot down three missiles and nearly 100 drones during the attack.
Meanwhile, Moscow’s mayor said about 600 Ukrainian drones were launched toward the city overnight, striking a warehouse belonging to the Russian online retailer Wildberries.
Russia has ramped up aerial attacks across Ukraine in recent weeks, while Kyiv has increased its targeting of Russian logistics hubs, aiming to disrupt military supplies.
In Kyiv, air‑raid sirens sounded four times since Saturday night. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least six people, including a child, were injured. In the southern city of Zaporizhzhia, Ivan Fedorov reported two people killed when a guided bomb destroyed a house. Dnipropetrovsk officials noted one death and 14 injuries.
In Russia, a Ukrainian strike caused injuries near Moscow’s outskirts. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said roughly a third of the drones launched at the capital were destroyed, and footage showed a Wildberries warehouse set ablaze with a thick plume of smoke.
