At least 27 people were killed in a massive fire that erupted inside a Bangkok bar, Thai media reported.

Firefighters were dispatched just after midnight and found patrons fleeing through a flame‑enveloped front door of the venue.

Unverified footage shows flames blasting out of the bar as one woman falls to the floor before getting to her feet to escape.

Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told journalists at the scene that 27 people died and several were taken to the hospital, according to local media. He stressed that the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
