Donald Trump, the President of the United States, raised concerns about humanitarian conditions in Gaza, noting "a lot of people were starving." Interestingly, the operational name was not mentioned in the Israeli military's English communication, signifying a tactical shift in message.

The IDF has intensified its airstrikes, reportedly targeting over 150 sites linked to Hamas in a matter of 24 hours, underscoring a commitment to eradicate what it perceives as a threat to its national security. Victoria Rose, a British reconstructive surgeon operating at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, expressed the dire health issues faced by the local population, reporting significant malnutrition among children and high rates of burn injuries.

A UN-sponsored report indicated that Gaza's residents are at "critical risk" for famine. Contrastingly, Israeli officials have consistently dismissed allegations of food shortages within the enclave.
