Australian actress Deborra-Lee Furness has recently opened up about her emotional turmoil following her divorce from husband Hugh Jackman, describing the experience as one filled with 'betrayal.' Furness, now 69, issued a poignant statement to the media reflecting on the challenges of her personal life after filing for divorce from Jackman, 56, on May 23, 2023. The couple, who had been married for 27 years, publicly announced their separation in September.
In her statement, Furness expressed: “My compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.” She framed her experience as a 'profound wound' that has deepened her understanding of herself.
