KYIV, Ukraine — Senior Ukrainian officials on Monday led 60 foreign diplomats on a poignant tour of government offices in central Kyiv that had fallen victim to an unprecedented Russian drone attack just a day earlier. This offensive involved more than 800 drones, marking the most extensive aerial assault since Russia began its all-out invasion over three years ago. The attack claimed the lives of four individuals and caused significant damage to various buildings, including a major government structure that had notably never experienced such an assault before.

Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko criticized the attack as a clear indication of Russia's refusal to pursue peace, asserting that it blatantly undermines diplomatic efforts by the international community. The diplomats were shown the remnants of burnt offices, emphasizing the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict on Ukraine. As this escalation unfolds, the Ukrainian government continues to call for stronger international support and sanctions against Russia.
