In a dramatic development in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine reported that Russia launched its most extensive air assault to date, deploying 499 drones and missiles overnight on June 9, 2025. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the nighttime barrage included 479 drones and 20 missiles, marking it as the largest drone strike since the war's inception three years prior.
